I've seen Guildwars to leaves falling and snow but what about
- Rain
- Night/Day
- Maybe make it a binary star system
- Or multiple moons
- Maybe a moon could be explored in a later release

I think one of the missions has rain, when you blow the stormbringer horn.

There isn't really time in Guild Wars, I don't know how well their graphics system would deal with a day/night cycle or seasons. It might be too expensive to implement.

Night missions might be an interesting addition, but it would be weird with areas with eternal night. On the other hand, we have areas with etarnal day, so on the other side of the planet eternal night may rule. Could be explored in an expansion.

Nice additions to the fantasy feel.

If this were a final fantasy game, I could see that.
However, I dont think that is the direction GW would go, but still a neat idea.

You can see the moon when you go through Shiverpeaks.

Thumbs up

I was just thinking that having rain, snow, night/day, and other weather effects. I know many people keep talking about having a game clock. So this gives me an idea, what if the game was based on real time (24 hour days) in reference to your time zone? The only issue I could see is with the international districts, but maybe they could be based on Greenwich world time. Also some mentioned about having a moon, I like that idea too. In fact, maybe they could include other planets as well. Anyway that's all I have to say.

Been done in World of Warcraft.

Now everyone just complains that they aren't in the cycle of the timezone on their particular server, and they hate always having to play during the night in-game. Can you even imagine what would happen if they implemented that on a game that only HAS one server?
